KBS had a strong year in Korean drama ratings race in 2013


Recent years have seen Korea’s television dramas mesmerizing an international audience across the world
More than 3000 drama episodes are being produced for 3 major broadcasting network(KBS,MBC,SBS) every year in korea

And in 2013, KBS seemed to have a strongest year with the highest ratings especially at weekend time slot.
Viewer rating research company Nielson Korea conducted a survey of 3,134 households from January 1st to December 22nd of this year. According to the report, of the top 20 dramas, KBS's "My Daughter Seo-young" blew other competition out of the water with a staggering 40.7% viewer rating. "King's Family" and "You're The Best Lee Soon-shin" were also KBS dramas aired on saturday & sunday night which took second (29%), and fifth place (25.8%), respectively.
Rounding out the top 10, KBS's "Love Rides The Song" was in sixth place with 24.1%, followed by "Sincerity Moves Heaven" in 8th with 21.4% viewer ratings.
That comes out to a total of six spots taken in the top 10 for Korea's national broadcaster

Meanwhile, MBC had a good rating at monday-tuesday time slot sageuk(history based) dramas such as "Horse Doctor", "Gu Family Book" and "Empress ki" which its rating went up to 20% recently

SBS was winner on Wednesday-Thursday ratings game with "That Winter, The Wind Blows", "I Hear Your Voice", "Master's Sun" and "The Heirs" which brought kim tan syndrome with Lee min ho to South east asia and China recently.
